Baby Novie | Brewer Maine Studio Newborn
She did it! Momma Chavaleh made it happen, and brought sweet baby girl Novie in to the world! You can find her maternity session from this summer here on my Blog.
“I ended up pushing for almost four hours, which was much more than I expected, and I wasn’t fully prepared for that part of the experience. But the truly amazing moment was hearing her cry for the first time.” Said Mom, reflecting on the day Novie arrived. “But even after all of that, I already want more children!”
When I tell you I was glued to my phone when I knew Chavaleh was in the hospital giving birth, I mean I was GLUED! All the Mommas who schedule with me are so important, and when you head in to have your baby, I am with you in spirit (and by phone!) every second. This Bangor birth was no exception, and I’m over the moon to welcome another baby to the group of littles that we get capture at their tiniest moments.
We opted for a studio based newborn shoot in Brewer, Maine at Selfie Space in their professional studio. You’ll catch me spending time in that studio often through the cold months and this fall has already been pretty chilly! When you rent space at Selfie Space in Brewer, Maine you also get access to props, backdrops, and natural light space. It truly is a gem of a resource in this community!
We talked and caught up as we captured little Novie and her precious details. Chavaleh recalled that they chose her name because they wanted it to be unique, but not challenging to pronounce as she grows up.
“I think she looks a lot like her dad, but I see my facial structure in her too. I guess we’ll see how much she changes as she gets older.”
“The best thing about being a parent? It’s HER!”
